rough idle??

hi all.
recently had my inlet manifold crack on my 2.3 and got a replacement off a ford galaxy. managed to bond in the parts that arnt present and swap the other components over. i fitted it with little trouble i even sealed the gaskets to prevent leakage.
only now it seems to be running rough at idle and sometimes stalls!
ive been to a garage to have diagnostics checked. faults are pointing at the inlet metering sensor and or oxygen sensor ?
as i have not been near these components. could this be a different issue?
for the last few months now and again the idle at start up has been a little rough but it clears. but now its much worse. ive also checked all the vacume pipes and all seems ok?
any advice would be welcome.
