Hi Guys, Sorry it's not a scorpio problem. It's my daughters fiesta. A spark plug has broken off and left the threaded part in the head. Any suggestions of how to remove it without damaging the head itself. Cheers Lee

Lee, worth a try with an easy-out extractor before major surgery.

Where has it broke off? If the ceramic core has dropped out then its a head off job as the tiny fragments will chew the cylinder to pieces

With a bit of luck it's come unscrewed and blown out leaving enough thread to screw a new one into,it must have been chuffing for a while Might need a tap out or even a helicoil repair. GOZZ.

Visited the fiesta yesterday and found the spark plug blown out completely leaving the threaded bit in the head. Never seen that before. Anyway, thought I would remove the other plugs first and lo and behold the next plug breaks at the head( all plugs were soaked in WD40 all the day and night before!)Soldiering on the next two come out OK. Now to get the threaded parts out. I had heard stories of easi-outs not doing the job and some actually breaking, so I used an idea I found on google. I used a 45 torx and banged it in to the threaded section and with some pressure exerted, both threaded sections came out with, I must admit, some relief Job done.
