Memory seats

Hi All. I have a small problem. My memory seats will not let me change the memory position. The button has been checked OK and has had a replacement to try it and battery was disconnected for a couple of hours to try. Bit of a loss what to try next.

Have you checked the wiring connector as it leaves the door and enters the bodywork? WD 40?.  Connections under the seat?... these are a favourite for getting dislodged by passengers feet.
