There is a rubber bung in the winscreen washer tank with a mesh filter which gets blocked. The washer motor / pump fits into the bung. Remove the drivers side foglamp and indicator to see it. Motor can be prised out with a screwdriver, take care not to push the bung into the tank when trying to remove it...like I did...new bungs are available from your FMD for about £1 or so. The screen washer jets may still be blocked though...new ones were available not that long ago @ around £12 for the heated ones. Hope you get it sorted.

Also. If you look carefully there is a join in the pipe just after the reservoir. This has a non return valve in it and this can block up/fail. I removed mine and replaced it with a straight connector..the type they use for drip watering systems...'cos I had one!. and it works perfectly. The filter,as Mike suggests, is the most likely culprit. Just clean it so you can see the perforations and all should be ok.
