HELP GUYS!!!!! My 2.3 ford scorpio starts first time, everytime without fail. tickīs over fine and seems ok on petrol... BUT... When you hold it at 2000rpm while driving, the Revīs fall and come back and keeps doing it until you move past it. If you accelarater hard there is no problem. I have checked spark plugs, cleaned the maf and come back with no problems. I do not know what else to check that would make this happen. Do you have ideaīs, i really need the help. Thank you again Nigel

Could be the throttle position sensor,a diagnostic check should confirm it.
