Broken seat

The back of the bottom of my drivers seat has collapsed ,can they be fixed or will I need another seat .and what are the chances of finding a dark aubergine leather seat.? Got a brick under it at the mo but gets painful on a long run .

From my previous experiences with seats I think you will have to obtain a new seat or part of a seat. Replacing the whole seat is the easiest method and should only take a few minutes , well 30 or so

Thanks for the info Tompion but the above item is no longer available from ford ,no old stock here or in Germany .So I pulled 3 straps from under an old mk3 Granada seat ,managed to fit two without removing the seat ,they don't fit the same as the Scorpio set up but will do the job til I get another seat . And it's a bit softer than the brick.
