Just spent the best part of two hours trying to get the thing off without success. SO, I thought I'd see if there were instructions somewhere.......

First part of the instructions say I need special tools AAARRRGGGHHHH

Just wanted to say AAARRRGGHHHH.

I pulled the pump backwards before realising there was a locking nut on the spindle. Now I can't locate the pump back in place and the lock nut turns the whole shaft. I may give up as there were no buyers for it anyway!

The car is for scrap anyway and I'm just taking what I can for spares or sale.

Not sure how to get the bottom pulley off as the engine turns because the gearbox is out and I can't figure out how to stop it spinning when I try to release the bottom pulley nut. Same applies to the steering pump pulley.

I would have put it in gear but the box is out. There are three holes in the pulley - I don't know until I take a closer look if they will accommodate a screwdriver to try and lock it up.

Even I get the cover off, I don't have the tool to extract the fuel pump core.
