Hi, There are bezel locking tabs above and below the recirc and a/c buttons. Use a flat instrument to press down carefully into the locking tabs whilst prising the bezel outward. Protect the dashboard with a cloth. Let me know if you need a spare. Cheers Lee

Feeler gauges, if you have any, may prove useful here

The left hand end needs to come away first as there is a plastic tag on the right hand end which needs to be slid out to the left.

The diagrams are Here. Note the point Gozz makes. This diagram is of a LEFT hand drive car so the lever being used is in the WRONG end for our cars. Read the red script. The tag is at the end where the rear screen and front screen heater buttons are. An old credit card is a useful implement to use on the four clips located as Lee says.

I find if you remove the screws holding the dash panel (two above the ash tray, two over the speedo, and a couple to the left of the steering wheel) you can pull the dash forward and get to the two left hand tabs and push the tabs down and push out from behind. As gozz says pull the unit to the left at the same time. The clamps are evil - far too strong for the panel which if you put too much stress on will bust it! Good luck Dave
