Fuel Cap locked.

Hello,  
 
I have had a fair few electrical problems recently, caused by a busted alternator which overcharged the battery and boiled it.  
 
I just discovered that the fuel cap is locked, how do I fix this?  
 
My car is a 2.9L, 12v, M reg.  
 
Edit:
This is the thread for my other electrical problems, which are central locking and no electric windows.

This problem is now resolved, the problem was blown 20amp fuse.

It was Fuse 22 in the central fusebox. It is the fuse for the Door locking modules.
