Not getting any fluid out of the washer pump on my 2.3. Have searched on here, but not been able to find anything.
The pump runs but there's no discharge (been underneath and pulled the pipe off the nozzle). So I suspect the impeller of the pump is broken - sometimes they are a little fan shaped assembly made of soft flexible plastic, but don't know for sure on these.
Has anyone ever stripped one down, or can anyone suggest what might be my best course of action to fix or replace?
Very serious problem if you need to wash and can't sometimes, esp in bright sunshine or drizzle.
Is there any info on here?

Jeff, the pump is located as you will know in the base of the washer bottle. It is held in by a rubber grommet which has a filter. Pull the whole thing out..it is only a push fit...and look at the filter/grommet. Chances are the filter will be clogged with gunge,usually as a result of adding washing up liquid to the bottle. It congeals and blocks the filter. Clean it all off until you can see the holes in the filter and try again. Also there is a small non return valve in the tubing as it leaves the pump so make sure that is not u/s. Best to clean the filter, leave the tubing off and try the pump first.  Let us know how you get on.

Update on clogged washers.
Clogged is putting it mildly. As advised by Simmo, I carefully prized the pump out of the bottom of the washer reservoir and pulled out the grommet. This is rubber cap shaped plug with an integral mesh, looks like a slightly over-sized thimble. In my case it was completely clogged up with a gungey snotty substance. This as a result of washer additive congealing I would say.
I like to use Hellfrauds own advanced double concentrate additive and apart from smelling nice (unlike whatever was in my bottle today), has never given any trouble like congealing. So I would recommend this stuff, but perhaps not for drinking.
Having pulled the pump and grommet off I set about flushing as best I could the reservoir by squirting the hose in there from both sides and watching what ran out (full of scaley gunge and general crud) until it was running clear.Because the filter had blocked, I figured the pipes were not contaminated so after re-assembling I flushed it all through with clean water. I shall now re-fill with the Hellfrauds mixture and wash my screen whenever I so desire!
Thanks for the advice, Simmo, it was a simple job, one which perhaps ought to be done periodically to keep the filter clean.

Jeff, Glad to hear all is well after your clean out. Thanks for the follow up.  Not sure how long you've had the car but as I said earlier the usual cause is adding something like washing up liquid which reacts with screenwash to cause the sort of conditions you found.

This is my 'new' Pepper Red 2.3 which I bought off Paul Smith a couple of months ago, so I don't know the full history. Must admit the fluid was very green, like washing up liquid, but I would be surprised if Paul had ever done this. Anyway, it's a simple job so if anyone else reads this it's a good maintenance job to do.

Please DON'T put washing up liquid in your screenwash - it normally contains a lot of SALT...
