This has happened to a member before. Check the plugs into the motor module and also try pulling the back up while operating the switch. Other than that all I can suggest is taking the seat out and doing it manually. The seat comes out quite easily but is VERY heavy. It comes apart easily as well. OTHERS might have better suggestions.

The seat manual is Here. Rear seat passengers can sometimes disturb the plugs if they catch them with their feet.

The problem seems to be in the memory module under the seat. Swapped unit from other car and got seat back up and working. However the same problem occurs in the other car now. So it is definately not switches or motors. I cant hear the relay click when trying the up position. Is there a wiring diagram for the backrest motor? I could jerry rig something if I knew which wires drive it up. Or anyone got a spare memory module?
