This links to my main problem of overheating!other thread, In as much as the engine may be getting to much fuel, i took all the plugs out, all of them were sooty, so i cleaned them all, put them back. still will not rev properly but when i took the plugs out again, all the plugs are black and wet, look oily, is it possible that a scorpio can run too rich? if so, how? Any advice please, Cheers Bob

I still thinks it's a Headgasket. Have you had a code reader on it* I'm repeating myself here - why have you created a new topic for the same fault were already discussing?

sorry i started this one because i can't see why all the plugs are black, they were light brown! i don't know why, but wondered (given that there is not anything that jumps out at me from the compression readings) if it could be a fuel regulator fault, or similar. Not had a code reader, thanks
