Door light problem

Searched main site and forums, but didn't find anything related. My Scorpio has lights under the doors, when you open door, light switches on, except for drivers door. Is there some fuse for each door or some switch whitch turns it on and could be broken? Also there shouldn't be any problem with light bulb, because red light stripe on door end also doesen't turn on.

The lights are controlled by a switch fitted in the door pillar. It is held in place by a single phillips screw. Undo it to remove the actual switch and check the wiring. If that is not the cause then the next place to check is the connector on the door which carries the wires for windows etc. Spray that and see if that helps. Lets us know how you get on please.

I'd check the bulbs first, the drivers door bulbs don't have an easy life getting jolted when closing the door on every journey at least twice whilst the filaments are hot.

"also doesn't turn on", I'm guessing at broken wire in door hinge area (where it keeps being bent) or as suggested bad connector. HTH
