Can anyone enlighten me please My 2.9 12v has the no2 rad fan running continuously even without the air-con switched on. The no1 fan (R/H side) does not operate. Does this point to more than one fault? Am I missing the obvious as to how this happens ?

The 12v fans are operated via a sensor in the O/S of the rad,and a large green relay on the inner wing behind the offside headlamp, these both need checking. The aircon system can, when faulty, cause fan problems, particularly the pressure valve to the nearside of the condensor under the plastic cover which can be accessed by lifting the bonnet and looking in front of the radiator, there is a small multiplug on the cable which can be separated for testing.Take a good look through the fault finding section on this site, with vigilance you will find the answer to your problem.
