Does anyone know if it is possible to buy weld in repair panels for my Scorpio. It's an estate but I imagine that the arches are the same on the saloon? Cheers Colin

If I remember correctly you can get the granada rear wheel arches and adapt them with a little modification.

IIRC the Granada Scorpio and the Scorpio Estate rear ends are so similar from the rear doors backwards that the Estate arch panels fit without mod. As Andycan correctly says, the Saloon ones only require minimal tweaking to make them a good fit Check your rear chassis very carefully, when the arches start going it can indicate flexing due to the chassis rotting from inside out.............Seems very prevalent on Estates but not so much on Saloons, and is almost irrepairable............... Yeah, you can weld a plate over the top, but that isn't gonna put back the strength and stop the flexing. These chassis are triple skinned, and have different structural shapes inside, so a strong repair is almost impossible unless you cut out and re fabricate a whole section Cheers Dave

Yep - you can use either Granada Estate or Saloo arch repair panels - both can be fitted with minimal mods that any competent body shop should be capable of:- Before:- After:- Granada sills can also be used:- Before:- After:-
