The kickdown cable may have come off at the Throttle housing end, or the vaccume pipe may have dislodged at the VIS (this is situated on the very front of the inlet Plenum, I hope you don't think I'm treating you like an idiot but I don't know how familiar you are with your Scorpio). Good luck Mike
