I've read the topic in how to thread twice and spent the last 50 mins loading a pic into both Flickr and Google photos. Using the links (both the long 1 and the 1 they use when sharing by email) between the img brackets just gives the code below

How the F*** do you get this to work? Doesn't it work with these 2 sites?

If only, I just poke around until I find something that works Grin

In flickr click on the share picture arrow to the lower right of the picture & copy the BBCode.
It won't work on the Scorpio site, you need to strip out everything apart from the img brackets & what's between them - in this case (without the brackets) https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1744/42510941212_1f1792807a_o.jpg

You also have to take the s off of https

I take it you've fixed your windscreen washers Paul Smiley

Thanks Lads,
and they said IT would be a great help to mankind  Huh

All it does is raise my blood pressure Angry

But I don't know where you found that bit of code Dave cos I can't see it anywhere in Flickr. This is 1 of the useless codes I get:

https://www.flickr.com/gp/162376717@N08/4Q8b46" alt="" border="0">

(the site adds the alt.... bit !)

or with http instead of https:

I've even looked through he code - nothing useful there!

Now I've found it:

You have to put the picture into an 'album' (it was only in the 'photostream').

You also get the option to resize the picture. This 1 is 180x240 which is adequate for this subject (other is 240x320, or leave it as the original 480x640)

A partial quote from a recent Flickr email:
"As we announced on April 20th, Flickr has agreed to be acquired by SmugMug, the photography platform dedicated to visual storytellers. SmugMug has a long history of empowering people who love photography and who want to improve their craft, making them a perfect fit for Flickr and our creative community."

So the way you post pictures may change (again). Let's hope it doesn't end up restricted unless you pay like Photobucket.
