hi, ive just ordered a new water pump for my 95 2.9 24v cosworth but although its very similar its not the right one. it has an open square on the back that mine doesn't and the hose fitting is at a different angle . I cant seem to find any other pump listed for this engine though ,HELP

Difficult if not almost impossible to find new water pumps for the BOB 24v now.
 
Try http://www.spwaterpumps.co.uk/ - this company can rebuild your water pump.

wow . just realized I hadn't updated this, I had the old one rebuilt with the guts from the new one although I believe he had to sleeve the original to take the slightly smaller bearings of the new pump . he charged me £70 for this work plus there was the price of the wrong new one but as now its been 4 month and its working perfect .
