Climate control air distribution problem

Cosworth saloon. Climate control fine until 3 weeks ago then stopped air flow to the windscreen. All other functions appear normal. Resets have no effect Tried different cc panel-no change. Not done any work on it recently such as removing the dash. When changing to screen flow I can't hear the motor going. Where do I start to investigate? All suggestions gratefully received

The air distribution flaps are moved by stepper motors - looking at the manual it should be possible to remove and test these without having to remove the dash - although it may be a job for a contortionist... Maybe it is just a bad connection in the multiplug ?

Not the same problem, but also CC related. After not driving the car during winter, I`m barely having any hot air coming from the vents. It`s just cold air coming through. I don`t suspect the thermostat, because the gets up to operating temps as before in 5-7mins. I`m suspecting the CC control module, because before winter it used to switch between blowing hot and cold without my input (not on AUTO settings). Maybe there is a sensor of different kind of thing I need to check also?

| Try flushing the heater matrix.

In addition to Scorpio Mike's suggestion have a read of This article . Cars with CC as opposed to Air Con will adjust temperature although I note you were seemingly not using Auto.
