Car stalls only directly after starp up and withou

Hi,
This is an interesting one. Doesn`t really bother me that much, because I only notice this problem each year at the MOT, because there usually you have to start the car up and let it idle for a bit, but without engaging drive and driving off, the car will stall without any problems starting it again.
Is there some kind of a system which stalls the car after 10 seconds of starting?
It can happen also if I start my movement in reverse and do a long reverse haul. If I start in drive, everything is a-okay.
It`s obviously a 24V Cossie.
