Just as a point of intrest, Adrian Flux will offer you a "cherished" policy for your scorpio. Im currently with them & found them to be the cheapest by quite a bit. Only downside to a cherished policy is the limited mileage clause. 5000 p/a.  UndecidedOther than that i've found them to be pretty efficient.....Which makes a change  Roll Eyes

I've had my MK1 Granny insured with Adrain Flux on a classic policy for a few years now & have found them to be just about the cheapest around  Smiley.....It's limited to 1500 miles a year, but it's fully comp & cost just £109 for both me & the wife to drive  Cool

I do believe some Glasgow postcodes are rated behind only central London and Belfast as "risk" areas.. possibly that?

Thats all very well until theres a claim made on your insurance Wink

Its VERY common for insurance companies to trawl car forums for info enabling them to wriggle out of liability in respect of claims (look at some of the threads on the performance and modified forums)

And if your username is your real name then it shouldnt take them too long to find the above statement via Google in a month or two! Wink

Indeed, the name of the insurance game is to do the utmost not to actually have to do what you pay them for,at least cover your costs.Even when you are 100% straight, they will move heaven and earth to avoid paying anything. You can pay them for thirty years, but if you have the'temerity'to make a claim, all that is of no consequence, and up goes your premium  Angry
