Took my mates 2 little'uns out for the day a while back (went to the zoo) and it was a nightmare!
I spent the journey worrying about whether the kiddie seats were going to mark my leather  Grin

Nah kiddie seats don't worry the leather too much...it's the chewy sweets that they stick to it that makes a bit of a mess.....and the wrappers down the side.. and maybe the chewing gum stuck... well all over. Macdonut's vanilla milk shake tends to follow the seat belts right down to the mountings and the spread out.. McD's fries are also really good at finding a good place to hide too...  ohh I could go on....

Well, I'll just keep doing what I did before then - put a blanket across the back seat first before the kiddie seats and the sticky sweets get in there.  Wink

Yes I think it was one of the few bits to be left on the facelift models. I have a spare set of seat backs and they don't have the centre headrest but are in v. good condition so I will hang onto them

Just for the record, the rear seats where switched off when you switched the rear windows off on the Mk3. So the rear window live is probably a good place to wire them in as well.

BTW, I know they where never originaly fitted to the estate but has anyone ever done this?
