Hey all,

Just finisd my Brake conversion to Focus RS brakes.

was reasenably easy, but did have some troubles allong the way.

first of al i have a mate of mine make some brackets out of stainless

its 1 cm thick Stainless steel ( can make more if needed)

next step was to fit the bracket to the hub,

And there i encounterd another problem.. the bolt that holds the hub to the Wishbone whas in the way.. so turned that around and al is fine

Than i have to take a piece out of the mounting on the calipers. so that they can fit around the original mounting of the caliper ( dindt take a pic )

Next i could mount the caliper and disc. this with 2 washers between bracket and caliper.

Al bolted up just fine.

The brakeline whas still fitted to the caliper and fitted nicely to the original scorpio part,

next up whas fitting the wheel.

than i did the otherside.. and whas really proud,

UNTILL... i wanted to go to the garage and get the system bled..

is was shaking en braking.. without pressing the pedal.
the wishbone itself was hitting the disc.. i dindt noticed that because the car was in the air..

so i fitted a 5mm spacer behind the dics and spaced the caliper another 5 mm out and al turns round nicely now
( again dindt take a pic. )

@ mods. i maded this into a how-to and hope to have it posted in the right subforum.  feel free to correct any spelling errors

Cheers Rob

A quick added note, you need a minimum of a 17 inch wheel for this, the discs are 330mm!

Your calipers look in better nick then mine but if you need seals or pistons etc they can be bought for sensible money through porschecalipers (google that as i cant remember the full web link)

Hey. There a bloke on xrtwo.com that have fitted them under 16 inch aftermarket rims. Pretty impresive for 324mm disc

Ive got lucky with the calipers. The came with hosrs and pads. And with delivery from the uk only for 175 pounds and the disc also from the uk and so cheap that i could buy 1 disc here and 2 in the uk
