Posting Photo's

Hi
I'm trying to do an article for the 'How To' section.
It all previews as it should but all the pictures appear very big.
I've saved the pics firstly in 640x480 and then 350x260 but loading the latter produces pics the same size as the first ones.
Can anyone advise me upon how I can control/reduce the size of pics that are posted?

Brad, believe me I'm no expert on this subject BUT when I post mine I select the size when I am in Flickr, where they are hosted, and so far they have come out at the size i set?.

Thanks for that, much appreciated.
I was using Photobucket for hosting and although I was resizing the pics, I wasn't actually editing and saving them with the new sizes. No wonder the pics were ending up the same size.
All sorted, we live and learn I suppose !!
Mind you, I didn't do too bad for my first attempt
