Topic: ANYONE.......ANYWHERE ???????? (Read 1331 times) |

whilst out yesterday i happened to pass 3 other scorpio's between glastonbury and bristol (on the A37),and a further 2 in and around in bristol,flashed my lights at all 5 cars,and not one responded,do people still do this ?,by the way they were 3 saloons and 2 estates,no other details as that was too much for my poor brain,if were 1 or 2 would have been able to remember,but back to my question,do fellow scorpio drivers still flash there headlights at each other,more to the point,do you ever get a response

Hi Craig,
If i see them in time i flash my lights but like you say I don't usually get a response either.

I'm usually too busy thinking "that's a nice looking car, wonder what it is..."  and then it's too late to flash the lights anyway.
I would have thought I would have got used to what they looked like by now - still, I get a nice feeling when I realise "oh, it's one of these".

I do a similar thing.
First, check how clean it looks.
Then, clock the wheels... mmm Ultima alloys 
Next I'm trying to see the wing badge... is it a 2.3/24v ??
By the time I've done that, I've pretty much missed the driver. But I can honestly say that I've never had another one flash me. 
Sod it, I'm going to start flashing tomorrow

Ah! Yes. Perhaps I should have stated which type of flashing I meant - the flashing of headlights of course!
