Came up to Southend today and wasn't let down on the Scorpio front. Well, it is Ford country innit? Saw a few distant ones but first one I got close up to was on the A127. It was a red Ultima saloon with no wing badges so I don't know what lump it had. I flashed to let him pull out into the traffic and got an admiring glance as I went past later. Second was right in Southend town. A nice State Blue estate on a P-plate parked up just along from Baker's Bar (that place brings back some memories ) At that point, I turned off to get a space in the little car park there (does anyone know where I mean here?) That's where I saw... Number 3! Not sure what colour Blue it was but Snoopy might be able to help - I remember seeing his at Derby and I'm sure it was the same colour. This one had steel wheels with no trims on it. Missed the last space in the car park so I pulled back out onto the road where the estate was, only to be let out by... Number 4! Another saloon, Ultima, in State Blue Very nice. Looked like a sister of my own. Looked very good going doen the road together. On the way home tonight, on the M25, just before the QE2 bridge, was no.5. Forgive me with the names of the colours again, but it was "something or other grey". Same colour as STN's if that's any help Not sure this one noticed me. I couldn't attract his attention in all the slow moving traffic. Not a bad day for sightings really

Yeah, that'll be great! I'll have her all cleaned up next time though. Was embarassingly dirty this time around By that, I mean the Scorpio was dirty, not anyone else I had with me

Bless 'em. Aren't they great? With all their dump valves sounding like air brakes and exhausts looking like baked bean cans! I'd love to give them a run for their money. Do they still go round in a loop from the Casino to the Kursaal?
