Think I saw Tompion in his parked motor 930 am when I passed - was it you Dave? If so, you're just down the road from me!

Then a red R-reg estate (?facelift) also on Upper Elmers End Road at 7pm

Hi Paul

If it was near Goddard Rd facing toward Elmers End that was me (got a feeling the other half said she saw a Scorpio go by as we were about to leave) – set off for Somerset about that time & just got back, thousand miles worth of petrol lighter in the wallet! First decent run since getting the car.
The autobox got tested up Porlock hill (1 in 4 in places) a couple of times and glad to say took it in its stride.
Exhaust rattling more now though - think it’s the cat.

There used to be a red scorpio parked in a drive further along from Upper Elmers End Road (South Eden Park Rd I think) not seen it there lately though.

Hi Craig

Must admit I was a bit apprehensive about it as the car has done 152 thousand miles, & I’m not used to auto’s so unsure about what’s right compared to a manual. I’d changed the oil & filter just a couple of weeks before and it was somewhat darker than you’d have thought from looking at the dipstick, but I was pretty pleased with the way it took the tight slow bends with 3 passengers onboard.

Hi Dave,
yep that was you  Cheesy

glad to hear the car survived the journey. If you need a scan anytime let me know - I'm just up the road.

There's a red N reg saloon on a drive on SEPR just opposite the school/rec - seems to be parked up there most days - don't think he's a member though.

Hi Paul

Thanks for offer of scan, but I have a lead (bought before the car!), although mine isn't the ABS one & my ABS doesn't work so I'll need to get it upgraded. I hope it just needs the codes clearing (having cleaned the sensors & fitted new rear wheel bearings).

Cheers
Dave
