i was due to see gozz , but had a mare of a day , didnt make it .......can someone tell me what we did before mobile phones ?? i left home without mine today and my day went completly wonky , got lost in the wilds of cambridgeshire or was it norfolk couldnt even phone the bloke to get directions , got there in the end but boy what a long day;-(

| In the old days.. i either got the names of 3 or 4 major towns between home and the destination and drove in that general direction...... another medieval way was to try and read one of those big paper things what they called maps, if you got lost go to the local Inn and ask for directions then 2 miles down the road when iv'e forgotten what the directions were, stop again for some more directions. Eventually i somehow found my destination.........

do you know what , ive just realised , i dont own a map of GB , normally im pretty good with directions , if i go somewhere once i remember it , but yesterday i completly screwed up , all those counrty lanes look the same to me , they need more buildings in that part of the world
