Meetings pages

Folks,
I have noticed that we're a bit behind on the Meet pages on the site - http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/meetings.htm

The last one shown was WSM in 2004.

Could organisers of any Meets since then select a few of the best photos and write some text, zip them together and send them to articles@fordscorpio.co.uk and I'll bring the pages up to date.

Thanks

Hi Eric,

Gladly I will pick some of the best pictures from the Herts area meets and do a little dialogue for you.

Give me a couple of days, and I'll mail something in.

And I'll try to get some words together too if you like  Smiley

scorpio_man

I've put your page up on the Meets section.   Wink

BTW - everyone working away on the new pages, can you put the pictures separate from the text, please.  If you embed the pix in Word it's very tricky to extract them to put them on the new page.

If you do the text and save it as a .txt file, then zip it together with the pictures separately it will be much easier to work into html.  Don't worry about spelling or grammar, I have a checker for those  Grin

Thanks!

Yep, should have said before - doh!

a Front Page document is the best, with the photos saved separately and then all zipped together into a single compressed folder - this way my mail server doesn't throw a wobbly and delete it all !

If you don't have Front Page, then any word processor file saved as .txt is best, as it is very simple to copy and paste across into the new html page.  I then copy the separate photos across (sometimes thumbnailed).  Photos sized to not more than 600 pixels across and saved as .jpg are best.

Thanks guys
