Hi Craig, the picture looks great, I had a fabulous time meeting you all, everybody made me feel so welcome. Sorry I couldn't stay longer. But will make a day of it next time. Chris. (Bristol)
Nice to meet you finally today. I'm up in the hotel room waiting for Connor to wake up so we can go and get some dinner cos I am starving and I want to go on the pier tonight!
Here's LowToms car. It has had the respray now and is looking good and is a real show stopper!!
,TELL YOU SOMETHING THOUGH BAZ,THATS WAS THE ONLY TIME I GOT SEE TOMS CAR LOOKING LEVEL ON THE GROUND,FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT MISSED IT...... YOU'LL NEVER KNOW
wish I could haved been at the meet, too close to my holidays in sunny Scotland. Maybe next year.. Had a great time at the halfway house meet instead...
I think there were 27 cars in the end, and some 40+ people then add the public wandering about. The gas man was busy most of the morning, but it was quieter in the afternoon. The weather was just about right, not to hot, not to cold nor windy.
A great time had by all I think, though there were a few people wandering about looking a little worse for wear on Sunday after Saturday nights session
Hi Craig, I agree it is a great picture, one that I will cherish because I am the owner of E5 MGS. The car used to have a standard plate but out of the blue a dealer wrote to me and offered E5 MGS. I searched the web and found another dealer who was cheaper and I bought it. Not very smart because I then discovered I could have bought it directly from the DVLA! The plate hapens to have my wife's initials ES and my initials, MGS.
The only low of the day was when Barry connected his OBD which although it gave top rate readings he then said he could hear the near side CAT rattling. I will shortly be looking up the replacement tips and instructions and odering parts from CAT Direct. Barry's early warning should keep everything working and avoid knock on problems.
My thanks to those who financed and organised this excellent event which our elder son ( RS 2000 owner ), my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed.

hi macolm if you want any more pics, just message me and i have about a dozen or so of the "cuirass four" ,i'll send them off to you if you like, and as for the number plate,i totally agree with you,my plate was offered to me by a company i showed an intrest in at £999.99,i bought the exact same number direct from DVLA and paid the princely sum of £170.00. and that incuded the VAT and the £80.00 transfer fee..
