I'm not too bothered either, but thought I would check first. If anyone isn't too keen, then it's no bother to change dates. Up to you lot.

well if you do decide to re-schedule, maybe myself + Highlander would be able to make it? Am working for sure though this sunday. 09.15 Megabus off Inverness to edinburgh. If i see you, ill give you's a flash, a honk and possibly a finger if ye cut me up! Normally pass Balinluig at 11.10 on that run, arrive Broxden at 11.35 I'll keep a lookout

Due to the possibility of bad weather and a couple of members not being able to make it, I have decidied to re-schedule this event FOR THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY SAME VENUE SAME TIME NOW ON THE 19TH MARCH Hopefully this means that more members will be able to make it, and we won't be standing in a skating rink! Sorry for the inconveince

Yeah, maybe for the best, there's a fair blanket of snow on the lows hills around Crieff and worse is forecast for tonight/tomorrow.

Just as well I looked here tonight... I could have been standing there on my own. See you all next week. Certainly hope it's warmer than tonight.

For once the forecasters got it right, it's been snowing all night and there's a good foot of snow where I am. I'm worrying that I'll no get the car out of my narrow street for my work on Monday morning.

WELL! The A9 was closed at the Snowgates at Drumochter + Dalwhinnie + also at Slochd Summit for most of the day. 1 lane open now just about. Apparently even some of the snow ploughs became blocked in. The mind boggles at what the conditions must have been like. Incidentally there were no bus services south from Inverness today at all. Loads of revellers stranded who were up to see Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce last night. The bus to London was fully booked with 85 folks stranded. Cold weather set to stay through this week too with ferocious gusts up at Drumochter lever of 100mph

Everyone set for Sunday Weather looks better for this Sunday, at least no snow!! Looks as if there will be quite a good turn out too, possibly 9. All being well, plus a couple from GSO are coming as well. Any more?

As I don't finish my nightshift till 12 noon on Sunday I'll miss the convoy northwards, but I'll hopefully get to Pitlochry about 1pm.

hello, i was just wondering if anyone coming to the meet on sunday has some bits i am looking for? I need, and this isnt in any order, as i need them all! both rear brake calipers, managed to tickle then through the last two tests.. the little clip that holds the passenger sunvisor in place, (the wee bit that you can unclip to turn the visor round) a good condition catalytic converter (not usually a fan of 2nd hand bits like this, but money is tight) someone to do a obd scan on my car.... I dont want the truth if its bad! all for a p reg 2.3 ultima saloon might not get to post again before sunday, if i dont, i hope to see you all there, and im planning on joining the convoy south after the meet, well, as far as stirling anyway!! donnie

Last 2 Since things are looking up, and the Scottish meets are getting more interest, i'm going to look at making them more regular, possibly every second month, using 2 or 3 diffrent venues in rotation. That makes traveling fair for everyone. I'll go and have a wee think, and get back to you. Feedback welcome.
