ANY CORNISH MEMBERS?

it would be good to have a local meet if there are any?

one down side to living in cornwall is that its SOOOO far to go anywhere and at the rate of fuel my 24v laps up a trip to London or the Midlands is out of the question.

ive got mine to tow a fiesta trackday car about and my Nissan 200sx drift machine (is a drift car now cos i crashed it at the Nurburgring at easter) and if you cover up the MPG then it is a wonderfull towing car, ive also got a bmw 5 series 525tds and that is very poor compared to my 24v estate. ok its 50bhp down BUT it is still 193lb.
Anybody else use theres for towing?

PS Good to join up and hopefully chat to you all.

Hi Dave,

I'm stuck at the other side of the country in Norfolk but try to get down to St Ives as often as possible.  It always seems to me that there are loads of Scorps about down in the South West.  Perhaps there arnt many with drivers who have Internet.  Whereabouts in Kernow are you?

Regards

Hi Dave,

Had a walk from Redruth to Cambourne while new bearings were being fitted by the very nice people at the Nationwide Auto centre (Halfords) at pool only last week.  Was staying in Kenegie, Penzance.  Hayle is always my first port of call when visiting Kernow for no other reason than I am rather partial to a Phillps mince pasty.  Reminds me of my lunchtime breaks when I was at school down there, HDGS.

Next visit will probably be Feb/March 07 and I'll confirm nearer the time assuming I still have a Cossie  Tongue  My ballooning Cossie Rad finally failed this morning  Sad

Til then, All the best, Clive

i do the alarms and cctv servicing for them
halfords is at the bottom of the big hill leading to fourlanes.
well if you do come back gis a shout.
shame about the ballon!
ive been getting an air leak out of mine for 2 hours today and used nearly 1/4 tank petrol just ticking over, i just couldnt get the fans to come on as it was so cold. i had the bottle off and hanging on wire off[img][/img] the bonnet catch to try and get the air out.
but at least its working now and the heater is sooooo nice.

any ideas as to how to post pictures?

i didnt have any transparent pipe so lifted the whole bottle up and keep filling it to the very top untill the bubbles stopped, then slowly lowered it into place, checked the antifreeze strength and DONE lovely blue peters (heaters) for once, had to do something otherwise i was going to get done by social services for not keeping the kids warm  Cheesy
