A few of us met up at Badgers Mount today. One problem..... THE PUB WAS CLOSED FOR RE-FURBISHMENT!!. However thanks to an encyclopedic knowledge of pub locations by Pegasus we transferred to a nearby hostelry to enjoy some warmth and comfort. Hopefully photos later. We did see one dark saloon driving by our temporary stop so if you were looking for the meet sorry if you missed us but the pub closure was a total suprise to us all. Mike

It was good to meet up today at Orpington & put faces to some of the names.
Great to find a fellow bell ringer amongst the group.

Yes, I nearly drove into the fence but luckily saw some of the usual suspects on the opposite side of the road. Saw a couple of Scorps drive by, 1 even came back from the opposite direction but didn't see us -P106 I think.
We finally got to a pub that was open about a mile back along the A21 (near the Ford van garage) - and very good it was too - proper beer and the grub looked very good. Could be a future venue.
Good to meet some new attendees: Dave (Tompion) and Phil (Taliban).

the name of the pub is the rose & crown, at green st green, opposite the royal oak (beefeater), if its to be a future meet....
