Essen in Dec, Tour Ford Factory?

Greetings from the US folks.
I realize this topic might not quite fit the Scorpio UK forum, but thought to give it a try.
I'll be headed over to Germany for the Essen Auto Show in December and wondering if anyone has a contact at the Ford factory for a tour? The website says 6 months wait, but I am trying to make the most of my trip there.
I would also be interested in meeting Scorpio/Granada owners while in Germany.
If anyone has a suggestion, it would be most appreciated
