Uncertain as to where and when just yet.
There was a bit of a mix up for the April meet due to unforseen circumstances.
I will make some inquiries this week and put the date up on here when I find out.

Hi family guy, please see the thread below, I'm looking for interest in continuing the mids meet with others from the unleashed set and here.

Mids Meet Info

During the summer they were on Tuesday evenings, which was difficult to attend for those travelling a distance, therefore we propose finding a decent pub and carvery on a sunday. I'll post here when we sort a meet out.

The next meet was due to be next tuesday 12th may. A couple of us are going to attend a local pub which became an impromptu meet after the last was cancelled to see if there are any classics about.

old cars are much better we have an 08 plate merc  C 280 AMG and i hate it it bings bongs and beeps for everything took me weeks to know what each sound was for

It wont let you "drive" it as it is designed  for joe average one size fits all car,
my mazda mx6 is not at all like that it is on an N plate has heated leather seats, cruise control , a/c all the stuff you would expect for a 22k(when new)  GT car , yet you can drive it no seat belt on the car is quite,i can change gear when i like , i push the loud pedel it pulls a cable the noise get better and the car shoots off, in the merc the car checks everything possable and if it  is ok and with in the set parametres i may get to go faster.

I throw the mx6 into a corner ,i may get sideways , wheel spin whatever, but there are no electronics to save I disagree  no flashing lights on the dash nothing braking each wheel so i stay on the road, no programs reducing power, no sensors reading road signs for speed or warnings , thats my job as the driver !!

new cars are more reliable granted safer yes, but this is to their disadvantage, drivers feel they are wrapped in cotton wool hit something and walk away 5 stars from encap may as well be in a challenger tank.

driving is worse people in new cars know that the car will bail them out of the s**t .

give me an old car every time

my westie is new 58 plate but its the same as the mx6 nothing but your skill to keep you on the road , being scared is good as it keeps you with in your limits.

so when is the next midlands meetHuhHuh?

Tonight is the latest meet at the Rose and Crown in Portway just south of the M42 j3 on the A435. It's on the other side of the dual carriageway so you have to come off the a435 at the first exit, turn right over the dual carriageway and head back on yourselves towards the motorway and it's the last place on the left before the motorway junction. Meet from 7pm, good beer and chat.

See you there.
