Harewood House 2014

Hi everyone,
The usual event at Harewood House in Leeds is taking place again on father's day. Sadly I am not able to go this year with our two cars but it would be nice if we have a presence at the event. If everyone mentions you are part of this website when getting tickets all the cars will be put together in one enclosure.
Is anybody planning on attending?

P.S It was only a few years ago we managed 17 cars at one event!

Shame its so far from me. I would love to do a show with this group. Any nearer to Birmingham/Midlands you do?

I was hoping to come, but a very nice man from Tamworth turned up and took my last Scorpio away. Yesterday ie. day before the show, I am now scorpioless

Took the Scorpio to Harewood. Despite parking next to a beautiful gold Porsche 911 and a Ferrari 308 GTB 2 cars away, lots of people still came up an took pictures. Many ex-owners came up and told me how it brought back memories and what a great car it was. They all said it was the most comfortable car they had ever owned.

Daniel only 260 miles round trip for you to harewood,  . I took mine to sandwell once, 500 miles round trip, only 20 gallons.

Sandwell is much more like it for me really should look into finding a show that's nearest to most members or find a middle ground show. Would be brilliant to see a load of scorpios together at a show. Might start a thread to see where about people are.

People with Scorpios are spread right across the British Isles,obviously by the law of averages there will be more in larger conurbations,to find a meeting place suitable for all would be an impossibility.
Scorpio owners will of course,soon be an elite band,and so few that this site could soon be devoid of support,a worrying thought

Yes you are right gozz. Just thought it would be nice to try. Shame there isnt a huge following really. I'm also on the focus rs site and they seem to be able to attract huge followings. A meet in a pub car park end of the month has people coming from essex to brum  only on for a few hours too. I suppose back in the day the scorpio meets would be similer. Really hope the site can continue. Brilliant, site and members.

I hope the day the site closes is a long way off, but the activity on here now is a lot less than a couple of years ago. We will have to join a general ford site  .
