Lucky I had my old one fixed with a little silver solder patch over the hole, gives me a spare anyway (or an investment - not sure which )

Wouldn't be too tricky to make a bolt up housing to take a standard thermostat with a shut off valve on it.Time is the decider,but when needs must the devil drives. GOZZ.

there's a BMW thermostat available the is pretty much the same with an extra mend in one outport, i just cut it off, sure i only paid £20-30.
