Nothing to do with me....honest Guv   Grin

Besides, forget about them & get a 2.3 Galaxy manifold & convert it. They seem to be going cheap on Ebay at the moment.

Won one a couple of weeks ago for £9.99 (only bidder at start price) & won another 3 days ago that had a start price of 99p & guess what ?....I was the only bidder !!  Grin

Should make a handsome profit once I've converted them   Wink

P.S....£100 is still a good price for a brand new manifold. They're nearly £400 new from FMD   Smiley

JC.
Maybe whoever produces them for Ford has discovered that they are about to become obsolete and, particularly if Ford are stocked to foreseeable requirements, have found an outlet through the Brummy man fortuitously for him.

"Whats the different between the manifolds ?"......

Both the 2.3 Scorpio manifold & 2.3 Transit manifold are exactly the same. The 2.3 Galaxy also uses the same manifold, the only difference being that it doesn't have the brass inserts for the sensors, matrix pipe outlet & thermostat housing bolts in the water port part of it. Reason being.....the Galaxy doesn't use this part if the manifold, it uses a rear water port on the engine for the thermostat. So this part of the manifold is never used when fitted to a 2.3 Galaxy  Smiley

If you have an old 'split' 2.3 Scorpio manifold, you can remove all the inserts & press them into the relevant holes in the Galaxy manifold......It's advisable to use some very strong high temp glue as well when pressing the inserts in, just to be on the safe side  Wink

Once done, you will have a 2.3 manifold with a water port that has never been used before & so is unlikely to split & start leaking at anytime in the foreseeable future........Simples  Wink ...... Smiley
