Im having real troubbles getting these parts. Reason is my scorpio hasnt and never has had fog lights. So I need the huge indicator Glass the one that fills the whole gap in bumper sides. The lens is all one its not the one that goes with the fogs as this obviuosly is far to small. Both of my front lenses are cracked and have water inside. So can anyone help me get rid of my goldfish bowls Thank you for reading. Regards... Derek

you will probably have to buy the whole unit opposed to just the glass lens. and you can have the ones with the fog light in it u may not be able to wire the fogs in,but the unit as a whole fits in. Ren

Hi Ren, It could be a much more of a dear shout though getting the fogs as well as indicators,I imagine? I will start looking for the whole unit. It seems like such a shame the indicators work great just the lenses are cracked typical. I have already had one indicator out. I do have the wiring already there for fogs.

My offside front one got cracked and did the same, misted up then in the first good rain filled almost to the top... would have been quite funny if i didn't own the car to see the indicator happily flashing under water... I first took it out and split it then put a line of clear silicone down the inside of the crack and siliconed it back together. It worked for a while but was very visible. I got another pair off a member on here and replaced them both... oddly the offside front has started to mist up again this winter... can't seem to win, still there's no actual water in it this time. ps. I went down the idea of fitting the fogs as I also saw the wiring there but gave up as there is more to it than that being you need a new lightswitch and relay for starters..

Well I have bought off madmadscorpioman. from ebay a o/s indicator (facelift). For £17.50 all inclusive which sounds canny to me. But I still need the n/s So ill keep my eyes peeled. The reason I didnt get the Fogs was because of the new switch relay ect. I feel its a joke ford making people, having to replace. Both indicators, buying two fogs and two other indicators, if you want to upgrade. Sounds a crazy and expensive way to me.

Derek, I still have the nearside one I took off mine as I got both from a member on here so decided to put them both in. I've just had a look and it seems to be in reasonable nick. It's yours if you want it. George ps it's actually the one you can see in my little pic to the left. If you click on my name for my profile then double click the pic of the scorp it will come up. Drag the bottom right corner out to see the pic full size.

There's a B&Q just along from the Blaydon Rugby club at the bottom of Whickham bank. Small trading estate has the Brunswick shoe place in there as well. How about that car park at 3.00 p.m. tomorrow (sunday) Park over by the B&Q. regards George

George. Thank you very much for being so kind in giving the indicator to me for free. That was very nice of you most helpfull indeed. I couldnt wait to get it onto my scorp so its on and working now. Its just the job. It has really made the car look so much better than the taped up light I had on. Im in such a good mood the day. I was even in bed last night thinking on getting rid of that head ache today. You know what? I could hardly sleep. Thanks very much indeed. Regards and best wishes. Derek

You are very welcome mate, your Scorp has the nicest looking paintwork I've seen in a long time, even my better half commented on it. Anything I can help you with just ask... that's what we are all logging on here for after all... regards George ps. ... Derek, it's been raining all day so unless you have a garage you replaced that indicator in heavy rain and a force 3 wind. I bow my head to you... give yourself the Scorpsman 1st class medal.. I would have waited for a dry day but I'm just an old person... Funny how we love these hunks of metal and will suffer cold and wet to make them run or look right.

Hello there, No I dont have a garage I just got soaking wet on my drive. Didnt jack the car just squeezed under. When I turn my head a sertain way I can just get under. I also sprayed my Butterfly too wile I was wet. As it stopped raining just enough to lift the bonet and do the job. I have always sufferd in miserable conditions to run my car whatever its been. In the past all of my cars have broken down, miles from home and at night when im alone and in the sodding dark. It was sodding scotland with my mondaoe on a freezing nov just gone. That was the last time. I thought to hell with it. This is the last straw. Im going to get something safer and more reliable. So I got this scorp. fingers crossing. Thanks again. PS it was nice to see you "Both" cheers. Regards....... Derek

Yep... it was good to find another Scorpsman in the NE. Maybe we could get organised and sort out a meet up here? I'll look into a venue.. I may have the perfect place.. the rear yard of the College where I work.. I could probably get it cheap... hmm seeds are planting in my brain now...... I think I'll post in the main area to see if there would be any interest..

Cos it's not a pub it's a College and they hire out the facilities after College hours and on weekends. But as staff I may be able to get it cheap or even for nothing. Anyway I have decided to try for another venue...
