O/S Front door tray

Hello has anyone got a o/s front door tray as mine was pulled out by the previous owners. I have a facelift 2.3 scorpio. The door trim isnt leather its a soft velvatey fabric. Its held in with two screws (I think). I was told by a man from afordable parts. That these are always pulled out and snapped off. The guy had one and tried to undo it off the car and it did just that snaped off. This was a month ago. I had given up on getting a replacement for a wile. However im trying again. Thanks.... Derek

turn the tray on its front so you are looking at the back....look at the screw holes, or where they have snapped or pulled through. hacksaw a straight line 3 quarters throught the offending part nearest the end as possible and glue a washer in with araldite. when dry, refix to door with screws and tighten against washer and pull up to door. hope this helps simon
