Jfs. I recently fitted a re-manufactured rack to my 2ltr here in Sussex and it was less than £200 from a local motor factor but supplied by a major UK company. The quoted price from Fordparts UK was just under £400 but to be fair that would have been a new Ford part so I guess 'you pays your money and takes your chance.' HTH

Do not forget the 24v steering rack has the sensotronic electric fitting on it . It is different to the the others they do not have that fitting.
Although you can fit a standard rack on the 24v it is physically the same size.

cheers for the replies i have been such a duuh and have only just looked at the site or was it that i'm fed up of topping up with power steering fluid and looking at the mess on the floor
