Inlet/exhaust manifold 97 2.3 Scorpio

Currently doing head gasket and both manifolds have a problem - so looking for replacements. Also does anyone know if the same parts from a 2.0 are compatible? I beleive the Galaxy used the same 2.3 engine as well.

hi,i have recntly done a head gasket on a 2.3 and found that the galaxy uses the same 2.3 engine,i did look at the 2.0 top end and if you look through the give advice section you will find the thread "2.0 and 2.3 same head ?"the appearence of both engines is the same but there are small differences in things ???????but maybe the manifolds are the same ??they look the same ?please be carefull setting the timing chain as the pre loaded tensioner you must buy and replace can go off very easily,as i found out to my expense £15.00 each one!!!!!!!!!good luck...gaz

Inlet manifolds are different, sorry. Ford quote in the region of £220 (inc discount) for them.
