Does anybody know where i can get a second-hand 2.5 td lump (Or a v.cheap car with one in) from which wouldn't cost an arm and a leg? i'm in essex but will travel as reasonably far as need be to pck it up. one from the granada scorpio will also fit if that helps.
the 2.5 tranny engine is different as far as i know, and i was thinking of rebuilding the engine but the con-rod has gone through and out the side of the engine block, so if i could get hold of a second hand block then i could re-build it as i have a whole heap of spare parts. but getting another complete lump would be a whole lot easier.
Hi. There is a scrappy near me that has a Scorp in that used to be a private hire cab, as we all know most cabs are diesels. The number is 01617616481. yeah its a start thanks for your help, i'm on hol at the moment but i'll give them a ring when i'm back. i live in essex but the car is stuck in leicester so it's not as far.
