I am looking for a EEC-V ecu and the other bits of the engine management system that are in the car, and 1997 or 1998 Scorp, that would have been fitted with the 24v BOB motor.... Why i can hear you saying......? ..... I have a BOB motor that i am fitting into another Ford (not Scorpio), so I am looking for the parts I need to run the engine.....? Any help or advice gratefully received... Thanks Penny

Not as easy as you think, you will need the complete PATS, wiring loom + the management. Still no guarantee it would work thou. Firstly if your not using the auto gearbox you will never get the engine running correctly. It will be quicker, easier & you will have better results with after market, get a Emerald ECU, they work well with 24v Cosworths. About £600 & you will get close to 230bhp with a decent map on a STD engine.

Another option is to use the old EEC as fitted to the MK3 BOA Cosworth & figure out a way of operating the variable inlet on the BOB. Benefits are it's cheap & you can fiddle about with the EEC to remove the flat spots for auto gear changes & other stuff. It is possible on the EEC V also I am told but I have not tried so don't know for sure. Take a look at this http://www.moates.net/index.php?cPath=25_35
