Hi there
I need a complete TD engine less gearbox for my manual scorpio TD. I'm not sure if the engine from an auto scorpio would fit?
If anyone has an engine please give me a shout.

robbie...i dont think you'll find too many auto TD'S anyway........
there was 1 breaking on ebay last week,dont know if the engine was availiable  .....
there is also one on there that requires an engine as well,but obviously thats no use to you i know..

Join the club robsa, I've been looking for a couple of months for one...the odd few appear on ebay but the last one i saw I didn't bid on as it was about £400 and had covered around 100,000 and was guaranteed for only a week.

It's the italian vm marine engine adapted for cars. I didn't know it was in any vauxhalls or jeeps, but it was in the rover 800 i think. Also believe a similar unit was in the range rover and older transits, but not 100% certain.

Hi.
Yes they were in some of the Vauxhall`s, mainly the Frontera 4x4.

i have a complete vehicle for sale. Its a 1994 granada scorpio with a VM engine. Runs superb, shes showing over 200,000 miles but i was told that she had been rebuilt on about 150,000 ( cant prove it though).I want 500 for her. e mail me a.schorah@virgin.net
