Hi My name is Gordon H. I'm new here and I live in Canada. Over here we have the 2.9l v6 in the ford ranger 1983 to 1992. I have been told that the motors are identical except for the heads here are a light casting and crack under high heat. after maket heads can be put on here. But there is very few performace up grades here for the 2.9l. I have been told that the 2.9l inlet manifold and thottle housing would add 10 to 20 horse power to the engine. I was wondering how much it would cost to purchase the inlet manifold and all that would be needed to do the swap. thanks for any info. Gordon
