I believe that the 2.0 and 2.3 have the same part.... anyone breaking one?

best price i got, and i looked into all options, was £204 fitted inc vat.
 
i tried every way, but even the cheap ones were coming out dearer with vat, carriage and gettting them fitted.  Undecided
 
best price was national tyres, getting it fitted on wednesday, will let you all know how i get on  Undecided

I think you have probably opted in the right direction donnie, although its more expensive, but at least you know it'll last you and you need to have it right for the hackney inspector

very true paul. i was just hoping i wouldnt have to spend the money, but you know what the taxi test is like, and a nice shiny new cat will look good under my car!!  The inspectors here are prepared to "overlook" or at least just advise on minor things, as long as they see that major work has been done, so i think i will have earned some brownie points with that....
 
well i hope so anyway!!
