Stereo remote stalk wiring

Looking for the wiring/connectors that run between a 2007 radio and the remote stalk by the steering wheel.

Hi here is a wiring diagram for the stereo system. I believe that the wiring doesn't run directly from the remote stalk to the radio, there is an remote interface module between them.

yep, have a wiring diagram, mine has been snipped at the stereo end, not sure what else ! looks complicated enough to make me think it is easier when i take it all apart just to get the whole lot s/h then its just a plug and go repair, no "missing" connectors further up the line.

I have a car that I am currently stripping down and have removed all of the dash and just have all the wiring left so I will have a look this evening and see if I can trace out the cooerct loom if you like.

I have had a look at the wiring for the remote and with my multimeter have traced it out and drawn this crude basic wiring diagram for you, hope this is of some help to you.

looking at pages 1 & 2, i think i need to loom from the radio interface module (4&13) through to the radio (including yellow connector? not sure what that is). im assuming the other connectors (14 and earth) are in place

im going to get some stereo removal tools and pull the dang thing out and document/trace the wires. will let you know exactly what flavours have been snipped..... i only had a quick look when the stereo was being recoded, he pointed out that 2 feeds had been snipped.

Hi,
Update on this, the wires that have been snipped are the Grey/Orange and Blue/Black (with earth shielding) that runs from the radio to the interface. This is shown on P2 of the post that Meg showed me. If anyone can provide me with a replacement loom for this section, i would be very grateful.

Hi I have removed the stereo wiring from a 95 ultima estate and it is all intertwined, that is all the wiring from the stereo is joined with that from the amplifier and it all goes to 2 large connectors one grey and one white, which are behind the dash. I can send you a photo of this loom if you like.
If the wires have been snipped, my guess is the original wiring is probably still there and so it would probably be easier to find it and do a repair.

yep pics always handy.... mine is snipped at the radio, so i have the wires, just no connectors, and given the earth shielding, doesnt look like a straight forward fix.
if you want to disentangle the bit im looking for from your loom, happy to chuck you some money for it. at the minimum i dont have the connector, so not sure how i would "repair" (especially given my ignorance of soldering etc), would need that bit.

Hi here is a picture of the part of loom I have, The connector you are missing is the yellow one and as you can see all the wires go into the 2 large connectors on the left.

To remove just the part you require can only be done by cutting the wires, therefore some sort of repair work will be required.

hmmm, looks different to mine, i have an earth shielding wrapped around the wires, will take a pic when i get it back from the garage.
