what you need is the drop link bar, they are about £40 each from ford, the one's which are on ebay are them but are no good, i bought a set they never sat properly, the bolts pertrude to far also when you do them up you squash the ball joints on them, there just no good, so becareful what you buy

I believe some of the Motor factors do stock them but they are " pattern " parts and not genuine Ford ones cost about £12 each .. I think PARTCO stock them

A nice topical thread, just had my pre-MOT done and found that the F/N/S link rod is broken. Was just about to run down to my local Ford dealer this morning, so at 40 UKP each that's quite a wake up call lol Looks like I might have to replace my F/O/S brake hose and the interior bulbs that indicate when the fog lamps are on but the annoying thing is that we found the new rubber driveshaft gator fitted recently on the R/N/S was ripped off!!! My brother-in-law said the gator ends are still intact with clips but somehow the new gator body has got torn off?! It was a genuine Ford one too. Will see what they have to say this morning.

Bought a pair of pattern part drop links from local motor spares a few months back for £15.00 each, & they looked exactly the same & have had no problems They are a standard drop link used in many Fords & aren't exclusive to the Scorpio
