2.0 16valve EGR pipe

Folks has anybody got an egr pipe for a 16 valve 2.0 the one that is bolted into the exhaust manifold and runs up to the EGR valve itself, I started to get what I thought was the manifold blowing and have discovered that the pipe has snapped in two and needs replacing and it is apparently not available at Ford before the weekend. Alternatively does any one have the finis code number so that I can try ford parts UK. Geoff

Andrew the pipe in the top slide marked E02 030 looks like the one I am after, just that pipe, does it come as a separate number?

hi geoff yes, that the finis number for it. get trevor to send you a diagram to confirm he's ordering the correct bit. btw, it costs about £50! i had to buy one for mine when i changed my manifold. hth ps, you know you can do away with it by bending the old pipe over and welding the end.

Andrew, if the pipe is crimped will it affect performance / emissions?

hi geoff performance, no. emissions? well i'm not sure. it is there to reduce emissions, but how that works by burning exhaust gases, i haven't a clue.
